SACRED DANCE...SACRED ENERGY...SACRED
WORK
Inner and outer practices of G.I. Gurdjieff |
with Deborah Rose Longo and Vasanti
Pianist: Melanie Monsour
|
|
| |
|
Purpose of the seminar: to strengthen ones connection
and awareness of body, mind, feelings and spirit,
while working together to be in a balanced presence of
all.
To explore how unnecessary tensions in the mind, feelings and body
can block the transmission of finer energies.
To become receivers and transmitters of sacred energy and finer substances
through individual and group work.
Moving our outside, sensing it from
inside…
Find the energy, the presence that animates the gesture.
And dedicate the results to God.
This is it. Have fun whenever the circumstance allows.
A workshop open to all regardless of one’s
level of experience. |

During the week one of the activities planned will be mandala making, which is an art form that can be an effective tool for accessing one's creative energy.
Mandalas are universal symbols, created through out time, in many different cultures around the world.
In some spiritual traditions, they are used as a vehicle for meditation.
As a symbol of wholeness, they represent the effort to reunify the Self and the connection to sacred energy. |
